This past year has been a very interesting time for me. I began the year finishing out my weight loss journey and losing 62 pounds and 26 inches in February. I loved the program I used to lose that menopause weight. You can find out more information on my webpage under weight loss. I am feeling like me again for the first time in seven years! I also started working on me and my mindset. I dialed down the exercise, which is my stress reliever, and started to do some PIYO, Thai Chai, Kettlebells, and the Total gym combination. I now work out in less than 30 minutes a day and I am gaining muscle mass, build bone and continuing to maintain the weight. I needed to let my body rest for a bit before tackling the last 10 to 15 pounds I would like to lose. I also am learning to love myself for who I am right now. That can be especially hard for us women. We take care of everyone and everything and forget about ourselves.
I am enjoying the new not so structured routine these days. I started working with an intuitive healing coach and I am in such a better place now then I was at the beginning of this year. I am learning that I need to slow down and let my brain rest. I know that may sound silly, but I have so much energy and I want to share it. The thing is I can overwhelm myself and others with way too much information! You see am I a lover of learning and I soak up lots of knowledge. So I am learning to take care of me first and then I can take care of others both in my family and business. Its call healthy boundaries. It includes the word NO. I know that might be a foreign concept to some of you reading this, but it’s a wonderful word and I am using it more often now. You should try it and see how empowering it can be! Go ahead…you have my permission!!
I have also really incorporated my essential oils this year for emotions. I was having a lot of emotions both good and bad and I have learned how to use the essential oils more and more to balance out the whole body emotional state. I am a lover of natural medicine since my body has such sensitivity to medications and certain foods. I love teaching others how to live a holistic lifestyle and how to slow down and enjoy life!
